2025–2026 Academic Year Spring Semester Course Registration and Enrollment Renewal Procedures

Course registration for all units of our University will begin on Monday, 09 February 2026 at 10:00 and will continue until Friday, 13 February 2026 at 23:59.

Course registration and enrollment renewal procedures must be completed by all students, including those who have newly enrolled at our University.

Students who fail to renew their enrollment within the specified period will not be able to register for any courses for that semester, will not be allowed to take exams, and will not be able to benefit from student rights.

2025–2026 Academic Year Spring Semester Academic Calendar

Tuition fee or student contribution fee payments will be made between 02–19 February 2026.
If you have any outstanding tuition or contribution fee debt, the courses you have selected will not be forwarded for advisor approval until the debt is cleared, and your course registration/enrollment renewal process will not be completed.
Students who do not complete enrollment renewal or course registration will not be able to benefit from student rights for the relevant semester and will not appear on any lists, including attendance and grade entry lists.

Students will complete their course registration and enrollment renewal procedures online by logging into the UBYS System at ubys.hitit.edu.tr using their usernames and passwords.

Course registration procedures will be considered complete after approval by the academic advisor. If deemed necessary, the advisor may make changes to the selected courses through the system and resend them to the student for review.

Students must regularly check the course registration steps until they see that their course registration has been approved.

Important Points to Consider in Course Registration Procedures

Students are personally responsible for all enrollment renewal procedures.

1. Students must register for courses within the period specified in the academic calendar.

2. Students who do not renew their enrollment cannot take courses, cannot sit for exams, and cannot benefit from student rights.

3. Registration is not allowed for courses that partially or fully overlap with other courses in the weekly schedule. This rule also applies to courses retaken due to absenteeism.

4. Students who are obliged to pay tuition or contribution fees may select courses only after completing the payment.

5. Students must primarily register for courses that they failed or did not take in the semester they were supposed to take them, starting from the lowest semester, in the first semester in which those courses are offered.

6. Starting from the third semester, regardless of GPA (GANO), the maximum course load a student may register for in a semester may not exceed one-third more than the credit load determined for that semester.

7. During the specified dates, students will log into UBYS using their usernames and passwords and complete enrollment renewal by clicking the “Renew Enrollment or Complete Registration” button. Students with outstanding debts must first settle their debts before completing enrollment renewal.

8. Students who do not complete enrollment renewal will not be able to benefit from student rights for the relevant semester and will not appear on any lists, including attendance and grade entry lists.
